Highways to Portland closed.
No photos. It is just after midnight Sunday. Just a quick note to say that Highway 30 AND Highway 26 are closed to travel tonight. The fallen trees and ice make travel to Portland impossible. I wouldn't want to travel north to Seattle either.

We also have a home in Seaview but still work in LA so finding your blog has been a wonderful treat I look forward to reading. The snow pictures are wonderful.
But I wanted to thank you for a personal (public) service regarding the snow. We were due to fly up Christmas morning, despite the warnings of our friends in Portland and at the South Pacific County Humane Society, that we should reconsider. Having now seen the pictures and read your last few entries, we are surrendering to the weather and postponing our flight a few days in the hope that the weather improves enough for us to get there.
Hope you have a wonderful holiday. I look forward to running into you in Sid's (or the shelter) one of these days.
