Quantum of Solace opens in the U.S. tomorrow. (in the big cities- at 12:01am) Tradition dictates the first showing- a matinee. (I used to keep the kids out of school for this day)! The official beverage is a VESPER Martini. (kids are adults now)
Question for you: Who is your favorite BOND? Leave your answer in the comments!
"A dry martini," [Bond] said. "One. In a deep champagne goblet.""Oui, monsieur."
"Just a moment. Three measures of Gordon's, one of vodka, half a measure of Kina Lillet. Shake it very well until it's ice-cold, then add a large thin slice of lemon peel. Got it?"
"Certainly, monsieur." The barman seemed pleased with the idea.
"Gosh, that's certainly a drink," said Leiter.
Bond laughed. "When I'm...er...concentrating," he explained, "I never have more than one drink before dinner. But I do like that one to be large and very strong and very cold and very well-made. I hate small portions of anything, particularly when they taste bad. This drink's my own invention. I'm going to patent it when I can think of a good name."

I downloaded it and watched it on dvd...it's not as good as Casino Royale, but it's still an extremely fine action movie
Never cared much for the Bond movies. They never lived up to the books and my imagination. Sean Connery sounded closest to what I imagined, though.
Well, there's always "shaken, not stirred" and my favorite: "Do you expect me to talk , no mr bond i expect you to die " from goldfinger.
i can't wait to see the new one!
oh, i misread! i thought you were asking for favorite bond quotes.
favorite bond is a toss-up between Craig and Connery. Roger moore for the #3.

Ian Flemming imagined David Niven as James Bond.
